It’s been a loooooooooong year…and by most accounts, it just couldn’t end soon enough. Okay, It wasn’t all bad... let’s take a moment to celebrate the fact that the final days of 2020 have come and gone, and take a look at some of the best products to hit the shelves throughout this year. In 2020 we saw some amazing cannabis products be released from some of our favorite brands. Be it edibles, flowers or cannabis concentrates, we saw it all. In today’s blog we’re going to be taking a look at our favorite products of the year for 2020 (in no particular order of course).
#20: Grasslands Indica
Simply named, Grasslands’ Indica is a classic Indica strain that tastes great, and has an even greater price point. Sitting at 15% THC, this bud contains sweet florals and an earthy musk. Smoke this strain while you watch TV, play video games, listen to your favorite album, or nap the day away. It doesn’t really matter, this is a good strain at a great price, trust me.
#19: Tantalus Blue Dream Pre Rolls
Blue Dream from Tantalus was selected from traditional genetics and curated to increase the bud structure. Basically what I’m trying to say is that Tantalus’ knows what they’re doing. You’ll love the taste of sweetness mixed with blueberry syrup and hints of brown sugar. With a THC range of 12-18%, these pre-rolls won’t leave you feeling blue.
#18: TWD Indica Flower
Coming in at the number 18 spot on our list is TWD’s Indica flower. This is a strain with very high THC potential and very little CBD. Much like the daily special flower mentioned earlier, you’ll find nothing but value here. With a 10-26% THC range and a 0-10% CBD range this is sure to be a go-to option for those looking for a no-nonsense, well-priced bud with an earthy, herbal scent.
#17: Spinach Dance Hall
Dancehall is a hand-trimmed Sativa strain from our pals at Spinach. Grown in Stayner, Ontario, This strain has mild THC potency and medium CBD potency. You’ll be sure to enjoy its sweet melon, spicy, floral, and fruity scent. While not the most hard-hitting product, sitting at 2-10% THC and 3-12% CBD this product is going to be perfect for those looking to get acquainted with the world of cannabis. Don’t let the percentages fool you though, if you’re looking for a nice mellow smoke, then this is a great option to try out.
#16: DNA Genetics Chocolate Fondue Pre Roll
Coming in at number sixteen on our list is a wonderful offering from DNA Genetics. This Sativa-dominant strain is a THC rich cross of popular strains Exodus Cheese and Chocolope. This one may take the cake for my personal favorite strain this year. Why? Well for starters, the way that DNA was able to balance the relaxing effects of Exodus Cheese and the uplifting effects of Chocolope make this a great smoke for any time of day. Secondly, the flavor of this strain is interesting but tastes great with a sweet, earthy, and musky scent with a hint of chocolate mixed in. Try it out today and see if you agree.
#15: Solei Free Flower
I have personally never had an issue with any of Solei’s products, I’ve enjoyed every one I’ve tried so far. This offering from Solei is no different and has to be one of my favorites out of their whole product lineup. It has little to minimal THC potency and a slightly spicy taste.
