How much cannabis can I legally possess at one time?
The Cannabis Act allows recreational marijuana use for Canadians 18 years of age or older. Some provinces require users to be over the age of 19. The law stipulates that citizens can possess up to 30 grams of dried cannabis or an equivalent non-dried form in public.

The legal age to purchase cannabis depends on the province or territory. For most, the age is 19. The exceptions are Alberta and Quebec, where the ages are 18 and 21 respectively.
What provinces can I buy cannabis in?
The Cannabis Act legalized marijuana across Canada. While each territory dictates whether its system for retail sales is private or government-owned, you can purchase weed across the country. The Joint only offers cannabis to customers in Manitoba and Saskatchewan.
